#155: The Prayer Altar

  When the seventh month came, and the children of Israel were in the towns, the people gathered as one man to Jerusalem. Then arose Jeshua the son of Jozadak, with his fellow priests, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel with his kinsmen, and they built the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt offerings on it, as it is written in the Law of Moses the man of God. Think of the altar as a meeting place with God; a special place or time set aside for just you and Him. Prayer is a must if you are to live a victorious life. Today is a special day as we mark the first Sunday in the year 2021. It is not by our own efforts that we’ve been able to see this day, but for the grace and mercies of God. 2020 might not have been the best year, but in all, we thank God for Life. Psalm 100 Amplified Bible (AMP) Shout joyfully to the  Lord , all the earth. 2  Serve the  Lord  with gladness and delight; Come before His presence with joyful singing. 3  Know and fully recognize with gratitude that the  Lord  Himself is God; It is He who has made us,  [ a ] not we ourselves [and we are His].
